This place is a great value property located in the Se district, really close to central Funchal and the municipal garden in the centre of Funchal, making it the best possible location in the old town.

Hotel as a whole is good value and quiet little, I appreciated it.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received at Sao Francisco Accommodation. The complimentary bottle of Madeira wine and cake were a lovely touch, making us feel right at home. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities nearby. The park right outside the door was a bonus, providing a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. The continental-style breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety. Our room was bright, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bed sheets and plenty of towels. Despite being centrally located, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The front desk woman, Joanne, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even arranging tours and airport transportation for us.

I had an amazing stay at this centrally located accommodation in Funchal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even upgrading my room to one with a balcony. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, especially at night. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with hot and cold water at a good pressure. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay. The location was ideal, with the old town just a short walk away and the municipal park right around the corner. I received great recommendations for local restaurants, making my dining experiences even better. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. I had a fantastic time at this accommodation and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madeira.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city. It was within walking distance of many attractions and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Another plus was the cleanliness of the room, it was spotless and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did a great job of keeping everything tidy during my stay.

The options were limited and the quality of the food was not up to par. It would have been nice to have a better selection and fresher ingredients.
